- At present, 15 long term volunteers (LTVs) have visited the Service civil international- Sri Lanka. They are from Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Switzerland, and Serbia. Most of them will be here for nearly 3 months. Another 10 more volunteers are expected to join the team within the coast of next two months.
- The Rotary Club from Matale participated together with the parent of students of the Blue Rose School, teachers, and members of the SCI to do the leftover paintings of a previous work-camp at the Blue Rose School on Feb 5, 2012. Nearly 13 volunteers just arrived the day before and got an introduction to the SCI work-camp methodology. The camp was a great success.
